LED stands for Light Emitting Diode. You should use LED light bulbs in your home because they are brighter and cost efficient. The first energy saving light created was the CFL or fluorescent lamp. These light bulbs are curly in shape they are good energy savers and last longer but the bulb contains mercury and takes a while to shine at its brightest. The new technology of LED light bulbs are more energy efficient than CFL or fluorescent lamp, they consume less amount of electricity to lighten up your place. Led lights (light emitting diode) are one of the light sources. Led lights were developed in 1907 using silicon carbide crystal and a cat’s whisker detector. This phenomenon provided the main idea in the creation of led light. Led lights are use in different fields mainly used in lamps indicators devices and also using as other lighting.

What's on My Mind About LEDs

Since From my childhood, I am fond of beauty of lights. I fulfilled my glowing dreams by small lightened projects in my school. I remember that day when I took my first step in my practical life. It was very first time when I saw beautiful strips glowing on the parking area of Lake Victoria. It was a sign for reserved parking I think. I worked there as a Weather Reporter to the Cruise Engineers. I asked to my friend what is that, he told me that was LED. I remember my school days when I made a belt with red color light I didn’t know the name, it was LED.
